Thanks Gary,

I added the following to /usr/local/share/spamassassin/local.cf:

trusted_networks 127.0.0.1

This seems to have fixed it.

For the archives, this is my setup:

FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE

Postfix 2.2.5,1 installed from ports

amavisd-new 2.3.2_1,1 installed from ports

p5-Mail-SpamAssassin-3.0.4 installed from ports

It was a little tricky to find where to place this directive, since
amavisd-new governs some of spamassassin's settings but not all of them. I
had to create the local.cf file. So far the above directive is the only one
in there.

Thanks.

Matt
