[imp] Hook to create default folders?

I've spent the last couple of days searching Google, and I know this
question has been asked numerous times in the past, but I can't find an
answer! :)

Is there a feature or sample hook code to force IMP to create a default set
of folders when a user logs in for the first time?  Specifically, I'd like
to create Sent, Drafts, and SPAM.

It would seem that most IMAP clients (Thunderbird, Eudora, Incredimail, and
the dreaded Outlook/Outlook Express) will all create their default folders
on the server.  I assume IMP can as well, and it's driving me nuts that I
can't figure it out.

I'm running Courier-IMAP in the back-end, if that is any help to anyone.
