[imp] /imp/mylogin.php was not found

Hi,

I frequently (but not always) get an error page with the text on the  
right side pane.

The requested URL /imp/mylogin.php was not found on this server.

Corresponding to this I get a 404 in the apache error log. My  
empirical observation is that this happens when the server is under  
load. Also some times the folder listing at the left side is empty.  
The two error conditions can occur independently or together.

We are using an alternate login page with name mylogin.php

$conf['auth']['alternate_login'] = 'mylogin.php';
$conf['auth']['redirect_on_logout'] = 'mylogin.php';

and imp uses imap login.

I am attaching a screen shot of the problem, with both 404 and empty folder.
