'Sorry, I should have mentioned: I'm running Apache on Windows/XP, and  
there is apparently a bug in php5ts.dll that several people have been  
talking about on the web (see link below). When I went back to PHP 4,  
Apache stopped crashing.

This is not a bug in IMP of course, but in PHP 5.
