Solve what?  This is the expected behavior.  If a message is received  
today, you the granularity is increased since you want to know the  
exact hour/minute the message was received.  A message received at 8  
AM today is much different from a message received at 5 PM today.  But  
that distinction is much less important for messages received, say, a  
week ago.
