[imp] Sync Horde mails with other mail clients

Hello,

First post on the list, I wanted to thanks the project contributors, Horde
imp seems to be really powerful as the rest of the apps..

I installed Horde webmail groupware a couple of days ago and now, am trying
to synchronize Outlook - Horde - E61.

So far I had a couple of config problems but nothing much. Now I have
questions more about how to keep synchronised the different devices..
The only way I see to keep all the clients apps sync is to leave emails on
the mail server, so when I fetch for received mails, even if another client
downloaded them, I'll be able to find them. Of course I can change some
settings to leave mails only for a defined period of time but I was
wondering if it was the only way to keep everything sync or is there another
way that I am not aware of?

How do you keep every clients perfectly sync?
