As Imp is not the only Horde application to send e-mail,
SMTP settings belong to the Horde realm.

1. Login to Horde as an administrator.
2. In the sidebar menu, activate Administration → Setup.
3. In the Application field, select “Horde (horde)”.
4. Activate the Mailer tab.
5. Configure the SMTP settings, to your heart’s content.
6. Activate the Generate Horde Configuration button.
