[imp] unread mail counter for Vfolders (question)

Hi,

For this, i have to go to "folder view", select all folders and then  
set to unread mail (in spanish: comprobar correo nuevo) so i can get  
this counter.
I would like to jump this procedure by doing something in my ???.php  
... so for all users will have this set by default.

is there a way?
