[imp] using trash folder with overquota

hello,
we are using  latest stable horde and imp version and a separate cyrus imap server.
the problem is that you can not delete a message if you are over quota
and you are using a trash folder, because the action on the imap server
is copy the message to trash and than delete it in your in-folder. so the
copy instruction fails on over quota. so is there a way to delete the message
directly if you are using trash folder and you are over quota?
