Rename the current directory to something else (e.g. jeta-cvs).
Then download the release candidate version and give it a go
(see http://lists.horde.org/archives/announce/2006/000290.html)

You could also try downloading an older version from
ftp://ftp.horde.org/pub/snaps/, or do a CVS checkout using
the -D option to specify a date in the past (like a month ago for example).

But I'd say the most useful thing for the Horde Community, if not
yourself, would be to test the release candidate. That way, you help
the community, and the horde core team has an incentive to give you
extra help also (since it is a release candidate).

AFAIK, the release candidate preceeds all the changes to the code base,
and hence should be stable.
