I wasn't able to find out. I added a custom header field everywhere I could
find a 'Location' header, but the http trace didn't show this header.

It's not that easy to debug location header problems! :-(

I'm not quite sure about the mcal setup Lee talked about. I'll check this
out, but may this really be the reason?

Is there anything in your apache logs showing a request for login.php? Anything 
in the error log?
