Fail to authenticate IMAP session.

Hello -

I read through the archives, and didn't read a conclusive solution to this
problem.

I am using horde 2.3.7-CVS,IMP-CVS, and Turba-CVS currently.
I configured PHP with mcal support:
'./configure' '--with-apache=../apache_1.3.19'
'--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql' '--with-imap' '--with-zlib' '--with-ldap'
'--with-mm' '--with-openssl' '--with-gettext'
'--with-mcal=/space/sources/mcal/libmcal' '--enable-ftp'
'--enable-memory-limit=yes' '--enable-debug=no'
System: SunOS host.tulane.edu 5.8 Generic_108528-09 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4
PHP: 4.2.0-dev

My libmcal is from tarball, and I have not been able to compile libmcal from
cvs. But, I don't believe that is the root of the problem (yet).

My current problem is that Kronolith isn't recognizing the imp session that
is created. I have added a link to Kronolith from the menu bar in IMP.
When I click on this link, I am redirected to

http://server//horde/kronolith/index.php
which redirects me to:
http://server//horde/login.php?PHPSESSID=&url=%2Fhorde%2Fkronolith%2Findex.p
hp
which redirects me into an infinite loop.

Is there anything that I can add to my horde registry which will eliminate
this problem?

Currently (the rest of the config from the dist file is still vanilla:
$this->registry['auth']['login'] = 'imp';
$this->registry['auth']['logout'] = 'imp';
// $this->registry['auth']['login'] = 'gollem';
// $this->registry['auth']['logout'] = 'gollem';
$this->registry['mail']['compose'] = 'imp';
$this->registry['mail']['composePopup'] = 'imp';
$this->registry['contacts']['search'] = 'turba';
$this->registry['contacts']['add'] = 'turba';
$this->registry['contacts']['sources'] = 'turba';
$this->registry['net']['finger'] = 'nic';
$this->registry['tasks']['search'] = 'nag';
$this->registry['tasks']['list'] = 'nag';
$this->registry['tasks']['add'] = 'nag';

Finally, can I forgo the mcal mess and use MySQL?

Thanks in advance for you answers and suggestions.

Chris

This should work. Do you have any messages in your horde log?

Yes you can, if you don't need alarms right now. But this won't solve your
problem.

Subject: problems - bugs?

Hi,

I use Kronolith with mcal (I've recently moved to mysql see below) I have the
following observations:

1. I have setup Sunday as the first day of the week. Every sunday I see the
week view showing the previous week ie for sunday 4th-Nov I see the week
begining with Sunday 28-Oct.

2. When I try to import events from Outlook calendar (CSV file) into an SQL
backend I can usually map the fields...etc but when I click on the import
button I get a page timeout and no data is imported into the data base.

manual entries into the data base are ok and show up normally.

setup is:

Horde: 1.3.5-cvs
IMP: 2.3.7-cvs
Turba: 0.0.3-cvs
Kronolith: 0.0.3-cvs

PHP Version
PHP Version: 4.2.0-dev
PHP Major Version: 4.2
PHP Minor Version: 0
PHP Version Classification: dev
You are running a supported version of PHP

BTW: I use IE5 as the web client (W2K) and Apache 1.3.19 (on RH7.1)

Best Regards
