After thorough testing it wasn't browser related, but because it is more or less
random behavior, it was hard to detect the real cause. What I found sofar is
when using the sql sessionhandler this behavior does occur randomly with several
browsers. The problem completely disappears after I switched to the standard
(file-based) sessionhandler of PHP4.
