[kronolith] Alert doesn't appear

Hi,

I just installed Horde_3.0.4-rc2, imp-h3-4.0.2, and  
kronolith-h3-2.0.2 on my Debian.

All works fine except alerts.
I read the Install kronolith file, the kronolith
archives but nothing happens when I creat an event.
If I well understood what I read, it seems a message
should appear on my calendar web page ?
On the other hand, reminders work well.

I read in a old post that kronolith needs mcal
therefore I installed libmcal and mcal.

Could you tell me if I missed a doc and which one and
what exactely happens when alerts work ?
