[kronolith] Kronolith <-> iCalenders <-> Lightning

You could write (or hire someone to write :) a file driver for  
Kronolith - none currently exists. You could also use Kronolith's  
ics.php to serve the calendar, and let Thunderbird/Lightning read from  
there.
