[kronolith] External Calendar SSL error

Hi,

I can't seem to add external calendars that reside on a DAViCal server
using SSL on Kronolith 4.0.4 with Horde 5.0.4.

If I go to "Add external calendar" and enter the URL (e.g.
https://cal.example.com/caldav.php/user@example.com/home), then I get
the following error message:

Empty or too short HTTP message: ''
</snip>

The 'http' PECL extension is installed and loaded. The correct root
certificate is present and loaded as well ($conf['openssl']['cafile']).
Permissions on the cafile are okay.

It used to work using Kronolith 3 on Horde 4.

I'm out of ideas. Any help is appreciated :-)
