[kronolith] Kronolith does not display calendar data

After updating Linux from openSuse 13.1 to 13.2 on my horde server, 
kronolith does not display any calendar data.

After a while an error message appears:

    Error while communicating with the server

In the apache2 error log I can see:

    [Mon Aug 03 18:33:00.804931 2015] [php5:error] [pid 12394] [client
    xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:47735] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of
    134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in
    /usr/share/php5/PEAR/Horde/Date.php on line 480, referer:
    https://my_server.xx/horde/kronolith/

I tried to set the limit to 256 MB and then to 512 MB but that did not help.

What can I do? Please help.
