Ha ha... love it. :) Stay sane my friend, stay sane!

I ended up just adding AllowOverride All in the Directory section of  
the vhost, and it fixed it, allowing the Horde .htaccess redirect to  
kick in.

Haven't had to add AcceptPathInfo or Options changes. My horde is at  
/var/www/horde
