Short of performing the configuration for you, I'm not sure what else  
I can say to explain this more clearly. Horde comes with a correctly  
configured .htaccess file that enables the proper rules to make this  
work. Your part of the bargain is to make sure that ReWrite rules are  
enabled on your server and that the .htaccess file is allowed to  
specify them.

If you are not using Apache, you must add appropriate rewrite rules  
for your server. Rules for lighttpd are included in the doc directory.

Or you can regard it as our very small team has not had the time to  
fix this low priority issue on our demo server.

Sorry, when did I say "blah blah blah" or, as I can only assume this  
was meant to mean; When did I say something that meant nothing?

I agree that the fact that ReWrite rules need to be enabled on the  
webserver should be added to the INSTALL file. Patch?
