Yep.  Got it working yesterday.  I'm running vpopmail+mysql+courier. 
First, I think you need to be running a new-ish version of vpopmail (mine
is 5.3.20) but should work for slightly older versions.  Second, you need
to apply a patch to sork/passwd because new versions of vpopmail uses what
is being called "crypt-md5".  For more information, check out:

The patch is for the passwd-2.2 version I believe.  Apply the path as:
    patch -p1 -d passwd-2.2 < sork-vpopmail.patch

Works nice :)
