[sork] .vacation.db

Hi all,

I use vacation and forward modules with IMP (latest stable version). 
(hpux-11.11, sendmail-8.12.10)
I have a little problem with the vacation module.
When I submit the vacation form, I will receive the message "vacation 
notice set!". So, I understand I success the vacation module.
In my home directory , i'm able to look at the following files :
.forward (to launch vacation)
.vacation.pag
.forward.db (to save sender)
.vacation.dir
.vacation.msg (the vacation message)

but unfortunately, it won't run when I test .

I've always had the same message: 

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
"|/bin/vacation test4"
  (reason: Data format error)


I discovered I must initialize the .vacation.db with the following command : vacation -i
And it will be possible to receive a vacation message when I send an email to test4.

Everytime I modify my vacation message I will write again .forward, .vacation.db and the other files.
So, afterward I must initialize .vacation.db . If I don't initialize the .vacation.db file, the sender won't receive my vacation message.

does the module vacation initialize the .vacation.db file after the loading of this file ?
