Hello all,

Please forgive my ignorance on this matter but I am trying to get
vacation to work and it will not. I have vacation using a remote server
to place the .forward file (which it does) the problem comes when I send
a test message to the user with the .forward file the mail server will
not let it write the message to /var/spool/mqueue. I receive the
following message:

07:39:15 ddcmail2 sendmail[27943]: [ID 801593 mail.alert]
i75CdFxs027943: SYSERR(test-empgen): queueup: cannot create queue temp
file ./tfi75CdFxs027943, uid=1237: Permission denied
Aug 5 07:39:15 ddcmail2 sendmail[27943]: [ID 801593 mail.crit]
i75CdFxs027943: SYSERR(test-empgen): collect: Cannot write
/dfi75CdFxs027943 (bfcommit, uid=1237, gid=25): Permission denied"

I am running Sendmail ver 8.12.6 on the mail server side. Users mail is
written to their home directory as .mail Is there a sendmail
configuration I am missing. I know that making sendmail a group writable
directory is bad. Any advice please?
