Go to the above urls.  Click on the "config" directory entry. In the
upper right corner of the page (under the colored menu bars), click
on "show deleted files".  You should now see the proper file which is
conf.php.dist (not conf.php, though they may be there by accident).

Click on the filename link for the conf.php.dist, and it will show you
all the version of it that have ever existed.  The ones which make
no reference to a "branch" are HEAD versions, and you don't want those.
Look for the ones that say something like:

Branch: RELENG_2

on the left column.  Those are the release versions.  They should be ordered
from newest at the top, to oldest at the bottom.
