Actually, I would guess the best/proper way to handle this would be to make
a Horde hook that the Horde installer could then modify to do whatever was
needed on their system to load the aliases properly.  This sounds like a 
very reasonable thing to do.

I don't have time to code this myself, but if anyone wants to take on a
project, adding an "alias hook" for vacation would be a great idea.
