[sync] SyncML server installation

By "preferred (easier) method to install" I mean, I'm new to the horde framework, so, are there some tarball somewhere? May I pull it out of the CVS server, if so, what's the procedure to install the minimal requirements to run the syncml server? Maybe you can point me to some documentation on those points.

BTW, have you ever tried the syncml client for outlook and pocket pc provided by the sync4j project?

Regards,

yk

Without IMP, sure. You can do it without any of the apps, but you need
the core
Horde code, and you'd need to create an API wrapper around whatever you wanted
to sync with that interfaced with the Horde registry. That shouldn't be hard,
though.

Uh, just install it?

Yes, currently. Though it'll fall back to trying to decode it in native
PHP code
if the utilities aren't available.
