Hi,
I'm currently building a complete OpenSource office server, in which Horde plays a large part.
The current development build on Gentoo is getting close to being finished, and we shall be open-sourcing the HOWTO on our wiki in the near future, including a list of tested clients and instructions on how to connect each of them. (something that has been hard to find in our efforts so far).
One of the most important things we've been trying to acheive is a synchronisation solution.
I downloaded the cvs version of horde and have got syncML working well with Outlook, but it fails when connecting from the linux client's I've tried, with the following output to /var/log/horde.log:
Aug 08 17:44:40 HORDE [debug] [horde] SyncML: New session created: syncmlscpimdemo12345678 [on line 45 of "/usr/share/php/SyncML/Command/SyncHdr.php"]
Aug 08 17:44:40 HORDE [debug] [horde] SyncML: Invalid authorization! [on line 271 of "/usr/share/php/SyncML.php"]
Aug 08 17:44:40 HORDE [debug] [horde] SyncML: authorized= version=1 msgid=1 source=sc-pim-demo target=http://seth user= charset=UTF-8 wbxml= [on line 293 of "/usr/share/php/SyncML.php"]
I have tried the Funambol Java GUI plugin, the Synthesis AG client and Multisync, and none of them can authenticate against the server, despite using the same sign-on details as the Outlook plugin.
As it appears to be an authentication problem:
Is there anyway of forcing horde to request authorization?
Is there a way of accessing the horde authrization though a .htaccess file?
Thanks for your help,
Andy
