I'm keeping this on the list so other people can benefit from what we learn.

Do you have the Pear DB package installed?

Look in /usr/share/php

And look for a file called DB.php and a directory called DB.

Seems like that should be a function in the DB class - although can't find the
query function in my copy of the class...
