[sync] max message size approached

Hi all,

I've gotten both syncje and syncberry (two commercial blackberry syncml
clients) to more or less work with one or two records.

However, after I've started testing them with real data (more than 50
event records), the client reports getting half-way done and then fails.

The horde log reports some variation of:
