[sync] umlaut problem

I believe SE phones uses UTF-8 for all internal storage (at least mine SE Z610 does). So you should set $conf[sql][charset] in Horde config to UTF-8 and forget how charsets look in the database through putty. This works for me. You will have to convert all existing Horde database data to UTF-8 if it was set to ISO-8859-1 before though.
