Yes, CalDAV does tasks and calendar items. CardDAV does contacts. imap 
does emails. For android, best use the free davx app to get your horde 
appointments into the android calendar app. Tasks work best with 
"opentasks" app but any app using the task backend should work. Contacts 
are synced to the contacts backend and can be consumed from the stock 
addressbook or most fancy addressbooks.

That's interesting. Can you provide screenshots? I'd like to look into this.
