[turba] Changes in table to all lower (???)

OK, sorry for this off topic question, but how do I
change the name of a column within a table in mysql?
as well as add a column within a table (for the pgp
addon).

This is correct; it was done to be consistent with the rest of Horde and 
to avoid case-sensitive field names, which pose problems with some 
databases.
