Hi Chuck,
I experienced some trouble with German "Umlaute" like "äöü" in our ldap
Directory.
I figured out that the DN = "cn=Markus
Müller,ou=markus,ou=personal_addressbook,.." didn't get encoded by
"turba/lib/Drivers/ldap.php".

Please fix it asap so we can use "Umlaute" in our Names. 
Always remember in germany live a lot of Müller, Schäfer & Co. ;-))

We use the newest CVS Head Version of all horde stuff.
Backend is openldap2-2.1.4-26 with utf-8 encoding.
