The fact that you even have a "My Address Books" link in the menu  
*should* mean that you have a properly configured sources.php   
Basically, just make sure that "use_shares" is set to true and that  
you have put 'localsql' (or whatever name you have given your sql  
source) as the source for creating new shares in Turba's configuration.

Usually, when there is a blank name in the edit dropdown, there's a  
problem with the address book's entry in the data tree.  You can view  
the data tree entries at Administration->DataTree->horde.shares.turba  
user-created address books will have long strings of characters as the  
name. Dig around in there and see what you see.

Also, what version are you on?  There have been MAJOR changes to  
datatree recently.
