[turba] 2.1 to 2.2 sql schema upgrade script fails to connect to database

I'm trying to execute the 2.1_to_2.2_sql_schema.php script, but it  
fails to connect to the database.  I had to debug a bit to determine  
that because initially it just gives and error about calling an  
undefined method.  I've double checked the database username and  
password variables too.  Is anyone else having this problem?

As well, I've been able to successfully run other upgrade scripts for  
other Horde projects.
