[turba] Horde as private sync server. contact syncing problems :(

Once we added CardDAV support, yes.

Must be your client, birthdays are synchronized via ActiveSync.

*All* fields that aren't supported are ignored. We support
synchronization of 'email', 'homeEmail', 'workEmail' and 'emails'
attributes though.

No idea how/why renaming contacts has anything to do with that.

You can add as many email fields as you want.
