yep there might be some value in making this more generic somehow, but I'm not
sure that prefs are the right place for these things. Prefs suggest that they
can be overridden by the user, but I think it should only be the admin who
decides what things have to happen when a form is submitted. (or maybe i've
misunderstood what you had in mind?)

maybe this would be easier to figure out if we could define what 'more generic'
would mean in this case.. Currently we have params that can be set for both
forms and fields. Is there anything else that might need to be set in the
future?
