Both and testing combinations of the two but basically giving
read and show permissions to both the gallery in question and
ansel in the horde permissions configure menu.

That is exactly what I've done. In fact, I can't get any of my
perms to work for guests. It's not just Ansel but also
kronolith for example. I'm starting to look at a problem with
mysql because I get an error message for all as below.

May 08 10:54:34 HORDE [debug] [] User does not have READ
permission for kronolith [on line 643 of
"/usr/local/share/pear/Horde/Registry.php"
]

I would think that the space after User should have a UID but
since I don't have one that works, I'm not sure but I am sure
that the permisions that I have set are not being recognized by
horde and with all the configuration as eveyone else seems to
have it including identities in IMP.

The only other thing is that I am using ldap and authenticating
with horde not with the "imp application" but I doubt that has
anything to do with the problem.

Thanks again for your help,

ed
