PHP 4.0.5

I purged my old PHP4 stuff in order to pull down the "latest and
greatest" CVS of 4.0.5. There's no "configure" script in there, so
you must build one via the "buildconfig" script. That burps, however
(something gets included AFTER the thing that needs it), and it
appears the PHP thus generated and bodgered into Apache doesn't work.
I therefore pulled down the released 4.0.4 and everything appears
rosy.

Has anyone else run into this or am I suffering from cranial-anal
insertion syndrom? Should I let php.net know?

Note: When I built Apache I was a little tired after a 22-hour stint
of network reroutes due to an upstream provider getting a fiber
chomped by a construction crew, so I could've made a boo-boo, but I'm
pretty sure I did things "by the book".
