You're absolutely right. I had backend.php in mind when talking about cli-
backend. But the rest of my message is still true. backend.php is just 
included in cli-backend.php so it still looks for http headers if you use 
authentication.

I also just commited a change to cli-backend so that it calls backend 
correctly.
