[dev] session handler hostspec

Seems like something went wrong with the session handlers.

I'm using a MySQL session handler and have been for ages. I did a fresh
install in a new location and when I setup MySQL session handlers I get
the same things happening. Went back to default (file based?) session
handlers on my main site and it is back up and running. If I work out
what is going on I'll post it here, again, if anyone has any clues to
help me here I'd appreciate getting things back to the way they worked
before.
