As a first approach, set the protocol in the servers.php to IMAP over
ssl/self-signed cert (find the correct syntax in the header of that file), and
check the DNS you use for authentication. I think you have an auth fault, so we
need to know how you handle authentication (by horde/IMAP, horde/SQL or IMP
directly).
