Not really, because i am an authenticated user to the application. The
logs show that I was succesfully logged in, but it looks like when it
calls Auth::getAuth() it is not returning the user that I logged in as.
As if it has lost that information from the login process.
Any other suggestions?

Not yet. One should be part of the documentation that we generate for
the Horde
3.0 release.

The only permissions that have meaning for applications right how are
VIEW and
READ. View means you can see it in menus; READ means you can access
it.
The way application permissions work, if the permission is NOT present,
it is
assumed that only authenticated users can use the application. If the
permission IS present, though, then the permission must allow the
current user
(or guest) the appropriate level of access.
That help at all?
