Something really odd is happening here; I'm hoping its the lack of comprehension
in my synaptical network that's causing it.

I'm playing with permissions. I set-up one permission, for HERMES. Make sure the
only checkboxes that are enabled are those under Group ("AllApps"); nobody else
can access HERMES.

Along comes a non-admin user and logs in. Horde is set to authenticate via IMP;
the user's initial application is IMP. The left hand menu tree is displayed, as
are the menu items for the IMP application (top). And then nothing happens;
after a while, the HTTP request seems to time out and the whole "session" dies.

The only IMP-action that works is to click on the "Folders" option in the top
menu; that will display the folder list/manager. The upper right-hand folder
selection box is also properly displayed.

Nothing else works.

If I remove the permission entry completely for HERMES, everything works as it
should.

I don't think this is a HERMES-only problem, but I haven't tested it further.

Logging in with an admin-user (one listed in the admins array in Horde's
conf.php), everything works as it should.
