You don't need an account; you can use git clone replacing SSH style  
urls with git:// (see http://www.horde.org/source/git.php).

However, you should NOT regard HEAD as a beta right now. It is  
bleeding-edge Horde 4 development, and there is not going to be a lot  
of bandwidth for supporting people using it who are not able to do  
basic PHP debugging.
