Okay, thanks - this is the bit I wasn't seeing. Makes sense and will facilitate my dual upgrade/migration process!

Sorry, I meant I have no data because I still have it pointing at a brand-new DB with nothing in it. Trying to fix the mail system before I configure a back-end.
