I apologize. I didn't realize this was running on a produciton system.  
  If you only changed the VFS driver for Ansel (by chaging this in  
Ansel's configuration), then you didn't loose anything from any other  
application. If you changed all of Horde (by changing the VFS in  
Horde's configuration) than it's possible other things may be  
temporarily "lost". IMP *can* use the VFS for storing attachments  
(though this depends on your configuration), Whups uses it to store  
attachements to tickets, Wicked uses it to store attachements to  
pages, and Turba uses it to store arbitrary files attached to  
contacts. If this is the case, they are not gone, it's just that Horde  
cannot find them since you told it to look on the filesystem in place  
of the database.

You can switch the driver back to Sql globally and, if you desire,  
change it only for Ansel.

As far as getting back images from the database if you want to stay  
with file-based VFS, IIRC there was a script for moving files between  
different VFS backends. I don't remember off hand if it was part of  
the Horde package or the Horde_Vfs package, and I'm not in front of  
the code at the moment to check.
