You should fix your MTA, then; bounce is a pretty common mailer
feature. It's in Pine, Elm, Eudora, and Mutt, and probably others.

Why wouldn't one want to resume something from one's Sent-Mail folder?
Or store draft messages in more than one folder? I can't see why you'd
want to take functionality away -- after all, if a message is such
that 'resume' isn't useful, the user wouldn't click 'resume', and if
the user felt that resuming was useful, then they should be able to
click 'resume' without worrying about artificial criteria.
