help installing 2.3

Hi Guys-

Just grabbed the head CVS horde/imp, and was happy to find Scott
Martin's very detailed install instructions. I followed them to the letter
(except that I installed php-4.0.3pl1 by download, not by CVS) but haven't
had any luck. Upon visiting IMP's main page, PHP complained that it
couldn't find mime.php for inclusion. Yes, mime.php.dist is in the
imp/config directory, but the install instructions don't mention it, so I hadn't
"un-dist"ed it. So I did that, and I think that worked. Next up, PHP
complained that it couldn't find Crypt/HCEMD5.php for inclusion in
Horde.php, line 105. I've looked around, but as far as I can tell this file
exists nowhere on my system. If it's generated by some script, I'm
unaware, since the install instructions are mute on the topic. Couldn't find
anything in the archives, so this is where I mail the list.

Additionally, a few observations:

The instructions add the include path "/usr/local/lib/php" to the php config
file but as fas as I can tell there are no instructions to put anything in there.
Something missing?

I also noticed that the instructions mention nothing about configuring IMP
with the filesystem path to the IMAP server. I remember that the old
setup.php3 had a few questions relating to the location of (in my case)
Cyrus, and a few other IMAP options. I gather that these are now in
imp/config/servers.php, but again nothing in the instructions. Like for
example what do the lines

    'folders' => 'Mail/',
    'namespace' => '',
    'from_host' => 'imap.example.com',
    'to_host' => 'imap.example.com',

refer to?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,

Troy
