 solved with upload_tmp on php3.ini (to /var/tmp).

 thanks a lot anyway.

Subject: Attachment Problems

Hi,

I'm having a couple of attachment problems with 2.3.7-cvs (updated last night).

Firstly, RTF documents seem to be being mangled in some way. I recall there was
a problem with 2.2 adding an extra line, but this problem seems to be different.

I play an online game, which requires me to email an automatically generated
RTF document. The guy I send them to complains they are corrupted when he tries
to open them (he uses Outlook). I tried sending a file to my work address, and
that also appears to have been mangled (we use Pegasus). When I send them using
Outlook, they come through fine.

The second problem is that when I receive emails from Pegasus with some binary
attachments, IMP displays the following error message, rather then the email:

   Warning: Undefined index: excel-sheet
   in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/lib/MIME/Structure.php on line 138

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output
   started at /usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/lib/MIME/Structure.php:138)
   in /usr/local/lib/php/HTTP/Compress.php on line 51

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output
   started at /usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/lib/MIME/Structure.php:138)
   in /usr/local/lib/php/HTTP/Compress.php on line 52

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output
   started at /usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/lib/MIME/Structure.php:138)
   in /usr/local/lib/php/HTTP/Compress.php on line 62

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output
   started at /usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/lib/MIME/Structure.php:138)
   in /usr/local/lib/php/HTTP/Compress.php on line 76

Followed by a load of binary.

Here's some of the headers from the Pegasus email that caused it:

   MIME-Version: 1.0
   Content-type: Multipart/Mixed; boundary=Message-Boundary-3031
   Subject: hello
   Priority: normal
   X-mailer: Pegasus Mail for Win32 (v3.12b)
   X-PMFLAGS: 570949760 0 1 Y0D60E.CNM

   --Message-Boundary-3031
   Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
   Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT
   Content-description: Mail message body

   --Message-Boundary-3031
   Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
   Content-disposition: inline
   Content-description: Attachment information.

The following section of this message contains a file attachment
prepared for transmission using the Internet MIME message format.
If you are using Pegasus Mail, or any another MIME-compliant system,
you should be able to save it or view it from within your mailer.
If you cannot, please ask your system administrator for assistance.

      ---- File information -----------
        File: hello.xls
        Date: 6 Jun 2001, 12:44
        Size: 13824 bytes.
        Type: Excel-sheet

   --Message-Boundary-3031
   Content-type: Application/Octet-stream; name="hello.xls"; type=Excel-sheet
   Content-disposition: attachment; filename="hello.xls"
   Content-transfer-encoding: BASE64

And finally, can I vote to have the "contacts" menu option put back in? I run
Imp as the root directory - so I don't have the Horde menu at the bottom of the
screen.

Apart from these minor gripes, cheers for an excellent mailer.

Tim

Subject: removed contact menu entry

Hi,

I would like to keep the contact button in the imp menu. It provides a fast
access to your addressbooks and you don't always have the whole horde framework
open.

Just my thoughts, Jan.
