[imp] Last Character When Sending

I was having the problem with sendmail driver.  However, upon further
investigation it appears to be a problem with the Netscape Messenging
server (it overwrites sendmail with its own sending script).  I switched
IMP to use smtp directly with one of our mail servers and it worked okay.
This is not an ideal solution for us so I got the idea to use the append
trailer.txt option.  All I did was place one space in this file and it
fixed the problem.

By the way, the line "Strip the last character." would always consistently
remove the ".".
